Whether it's your first time or a renewal, becoming a Friend is the easiest, most effective way of contributing to your favorite public library!
Donate just because. This can be a one-time thing, or you can be super generous and make it a recurring donation. Don't forget to ask your employer about matching your donation!
You can donate directly to the library. Give at least $100 and you join the legacy tree in our lobby! Donated funds augment our operating budget which pays for books, databases like Lynda.com and Ancestry, and so on. Please make checks payable to Roxbury Public Library and mail to:

RSVP to a Paint & Sip and you won't regret it! Bring yourself, some friends, and whatever you want to eat or drink (alcohol is premitted) and we'll provide the instructor, canvas, brushes, paint and everything else needed to create a masterpiece. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Library.
The Library Foundation Gala takes place annually in November. Sponshorships are necessary for this enormous event to net a profit for the Foundation. All money earned is earmarked for the future expasion of the library!

We want you! We need you! Volunteers help the library in all manner of ways. From shelving books to running book clubs, we welcome and treasure all our volunteers!
Shop for yourself and loved ones year round at the Friends Book & Gift Shoppe located directly next to the help desk. Gently used books are refreshed every week and now, you can buy socks, mugs and more in support of the library!
